Hound : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium Won't you think about adopting me?
PJ is a 3 year old Walker Hound who found himself in jail at Animal Control last September. He is around 60 lbs and has a shiny, sleek coat. His ears are long and soft and he loves getting them rubbed. Most importantly, PJ is an amazing gentleman.
PJ was fostered at Camp Merricks, getting training and socialization. They reported he is friendly, clean, and very easy to get along with. He plays well with other dogs and can be with smaller dogs if they are managed. His play style can be a little overwhelming for really small dogs; however, the resident Feist (~ 22 lbs) at Camp loves wrestling with him. PJ is crate trained and is learning good manners. He is clean inside, and loves to be in the house once he's run around and played a bit. He's learning better leash manners, but he's not bad now. When he was at the shelter he was well mannered in his room and loved to play with puzzle balls and Kong toys. Camp Merricks has donated a training session for PJ's adopters to help with his first weeks home and they support their fosters after adoption if any future issues arise.
