Stepping Stones

Would you like to literally have your name as a donor set in concrete?   Peyton Coyner is generously donating his artistic talent to create beautiful paw prints in concrete to be used as stepping stones in walkways at the Almost Home Pet Adoption Center (or you can choose to take the stepping stone home).

For a gift of $l00 to the HS/SPCA your name as a donor or a favorite pet’s name on a stepping stone can become a permanent part of a walkway at the Almost Home Pet Adoption Center.

For a $50 gift you can purchase a smaller stepping stone, and for $25 you can purchase a stepping stone with a paw print but no name.

To order a stepping stone, please mail your check payable to the Humane Society/ SPCA of Nelson County at 29 Stagebridge Road, Lovingston, VA 22949.

Please be sure to give us the name of the person and pet that you wish to have printed on the stepping stone. Again, stepping stones may also be purchased for your own use.

Engraved Plaque

For a donation of $5,000 you can memorialize a special pet in a special way. Your gift can be used to sponsor a doggie dorm or kitty condo. An engraved plaque with your name as the donor and the name of the pet you are remembering will be displayed on the wall of the doggie dorm or kitty condo at the Almost Home Pet Adoption Center. To date, four doggie dorms have been sponsored and 3 kitty condos. We have 8 more doggie dorms awaiting sponsorship.

Tax-deductible donations of $5,000 should be mailed to the Humane Society/SPCA of Nelson County, 29 Stagebridge Road Lovingston, VA 22949.

Please print the names that you wish to have engraved on the plaque and indicate whether you are sponsoring a doggie dorm or kitty condo.
